Art Dash 2022

Me -Waiting in Anticipation

I've been waiting 2 years to attend one of the most fun fundraisers for artists in our area. Due to Covid concerns the Franciscan Spirituality Center had to regroup and postpone, now it was finally here, this past Thursday evening.

Art for the Offering

Cargill Room, waiting to dash

It met all my expectations. As an artist we were graciously recognized for our contributions and an enthusiastic crowd of art lovers were there to enjoy the fruits of our labors.

A big shout out to Stacey Sabadash Kalas and staff for the dedication and support for the arts and artists. She did a fantastic job connecting art to the community.

My own personal note:

Many artists probably can share a story of being asked to donate their work only to see it go at an auction for pennies on the dollars and not even get the recognition or even a thank you.

Thanks again Franciscan Spirituality Center for allowing artists to do what they do best.
