Recommendations on safe limits for human consumption of fish, helps protect us from ingesting too much mercury and other toxins that pollute our waters.

 

So what are the birds suppose to do. They have no choice, no grocery store to go to or favorite fish monger they trust.

 

Will we have to create new ponds and swimming holes so they have a safe source for their survival.?

 However they got here, who can blame them. Summers are hot and muggy in Florida.

The old state visitor slogan comes to life when we Wisconsinites  realize what a beautiful state it is. 

As climate changes I think we’ll see a few more major moves north.

Halfway Creek Sunday Music in Holmen

 A wonderful way to finish off a summer weekend with music at Halfway Creek Park in Holmen.

I've been attending over the years with either a sketchbook or my painting easel. Here's last Sunday painting.

The Station in Historic Downtown Trempealeau-my new display

My guests and I went in search of ice cream in Trempealeau and found more than a sweet treat, another opportunity to display my artwork.

Evening at Moon Tunes

Evening at Moon Tunes 8x10 oil $75

 The weather was just right, blues skies, mild temps and me and my easel. Moon Tunes Thursday night featured a band that goes back to a special day for me. My wedding on August 1, 1987 when I married my husband Eric, the band "Blind Baby Olin and the Workbenches" played and we danced and celebrated at the Radisson Hotel ballroom.

Now here tonight a chance to paint while they played. 

After capturing the shapes I did a bit more painting in my studio this morning, adding in the later evening light and creating the figures. Hope you enjoy.
