Evening at Moon Tunes

Evening at Moon Tunes 8x10 oil 

 The weather was just right, blues skies, mild temps and me and my easel. Moon Tunes Thursday night featured a band that goes back to a special day for me. My wedding on August 1, 1987 when I married my husband Eric, the band "Blind Baby Olin and the Workbenches" played and we danced and celebrated at the Radisson Hotel ballroom.

Now here tonight a chance to paint while they played. 

After capturing the shapes I did a bit more painting in my studio this morning, adding in the later evening light and creating the figures. Hope you enjoy.
