Wisconsin ArtsWest 43

Happy to announce one of my oil paintings was selected for Wisconsin ArtsWest 43 a virtual exhibit.

Paintings inspired after I had attended a presentation at Perrot State Park late this summer lead by Elliot Funmaker of the Ho-Chunk Nation. He did a Blessing of the Drum Ceremony, then his wife and granddaughter demonstrated some of the dances.  I hope I have portrayed them with the utmost respect and appreciation of the Ho-Chunk Nations contributions and sacrifices.

Virtual Art Shows

Because of COVID-19, all in-person library programs and events, including art exhibits, had to be canceled. But we wanted to continue to showcase great regional art, so our shows have gone virtual! You’ll be able to view artwork from the safety and comfort of your own home.

Go to site and select Events on top menu bar then Art Shows.
