In the process of creating my upcoming show, at Elmaro Vineyard and Winery at Trempealeau in June, I'm focusing on the 4 seasons of the Trempealeau Refuge. Besides a triptych celebrating each season I'm including one larger painting 11x14 of each season.
This one of summer, is favorite images, I captured on camera several years ago. As you enter the refuge this view caught my eye. Usually I drive right past in anticipation of getting all the way to the trails or overlook. It pays to slow down so as not to miss these special moments.
