Artists from the Refuge

Join Artists from the Refuge for a closing reception Sunday, June 30 from 1-4.

Thanks to the Friends of Trempealeau Refuge for sponsoring the events and Elmaro Vineyard for hosting.

In addition to the artwork on display by 13 area artists they will also be showing some of the plein air works from the refuge and winery.

Happy Birthday Baby Brother

Benn working on painting portraits of his and Hen's grandkids. When his wife showed me this photo of him on the opening season of fishing in Minnesota I knew this was the one of him. Love the glasses.

Still working on the grandkids got 2 out 5 done. I think they'll all have to have a fishing theme.

Drawn Together at Red Pines Cafe

The artist group "Drawn Together met to draw there this Wednesday. As always fellow artists sketched and enjoyed the ambience of Lake Onalaska while enjoy specialty coffees, tea, bloody mary, a scone or a sandwich.

Following is an update of sketches of mine at various locations we've gone to draw for the last year. It's interesting to see the changes in my drawing styles.
