It's Monday and I'm back in my studio. It was a very productive weekend with two plein air events. I joined Artists at the Trempealeau Refuge on Sat., then many continued to paint at Elmaro's Street Market Sunday.
The rain on Saturday didn't deter these easel warriors ready to battle rain drops and mosquitos to capture the mood at the refuge. Some hunkered down to create in there cars. You could also see innovative set ups under hatchback hoods and creative umbrella modifications.

Here's some of my finished paintings after evaluating and making some adjustments in the studio.
They should be dry enough for me to take to Elmaro again on Sunday's Street Market. Artists will be out there again. Looking forward to enjoying music, food and sharing our work. |
