It seems as fast as the weather changes, challenging plein air artists, so does life events interrupt our schedules. I had to change plans on short notice to attend to a family emergency and missed the final days of Between the Bluffs. I did not get my three paintings framed and entered but still want to share my efforts. I started off painting right away and enjoyed the beautiful weather while I painted. Below are the paintings I did during the competition.
After my return I had a chance to swing through 1802 Gallery. It was really impressive to see all the artwork. I could only stay briefly as I found it was too busy and I'm currently masking up since I had been exposed to Covid for a lengthy period of time while in the Milwaukee area. Now I'm waiting it out for test results.
Between the Bluffs should have the winners posted on their sight soon. Congratulations to all those artists even if you didn't get a ribbon.
