It's been fun painting down at Riverside Park during Moon Tunes on Thursday nights. I'll be setting up to paint plein air with Ellen one more time and look forward to celebrating the last gathering of the season.
Wanted to share some of my results from past evenings and a few other ones inspired by this beautiful location along the Mississippi River.
Painting on site has helped build my confidence and makes me a better painter overall. So now I'm feeling ready for Between the Bluffs Plein Air Festival here in La Crosse this October 18-20. Catch many artists outside painting as early as Oct. 3 for the competition. See the results at 1802 Gallery on State Street in La Crosse for the show and up on Grandads Bluff for the Quick Paint competition on Saturday morning. It's amazing to see artwork created before your eyes. More information at betweenthebluffs.com
