Today's the last day for the 100th Anniversary of the Refuge art exhibit at the Pump House. Hope you were able to stop by. It started with a wonderful reception in January with artwork by six artists and ended with the performance of Will Dilg. If you didn't make the performance, good news, the next stop for Will Dilg is in Lansing, IA March 9.
Thanks again to the Friends of Pool 7 and 8 and the Pump House..
There's more to come with celebrations all year. Next weekend March 2 the Upper Missisippi Refuge in Onalaska has events celebrating Wisconsin's own Aldo Leopold as well as The Nature Place in La Crosse.
Here's my homage to Aldo Leopold- a painting that will be at my next exhibit this May at Elmaro Vinyard and Winery in Trempealeau, called Feathered Friends.
Where's Aldo? I'm Back 11x14 oil on cradled panel |
There's a story behind this painting and a few more that I'm working on.
