Before the competition started for Plein Air Between the Bluffs I joined fellow artists up on the bluff at one of La Crosse's iconic overlooks-Grandads.
A bit buggy, a bit hot, but it was fun taking in the view and talking to folks that were interested in what we were doing.
A few of us also warmed up our palettes at Red Pines on Brice Prairie. shown below.

I'm ready for the plein air show at Gallery 1802 on Friday and then the final competition the Quick Paint on Saturday. Hope you'll join the 40 plus artists who have been painting around La Crosse for the past 10 days.
